So today has been a good day, I always love it when storms come threw because it puts me at peace and reminds me of my sweet little Laken. Today Kelsey and I went out to the garage to finish some of our holiday decorations. We painted baby pumpkins I even made a cute little kitty cat with pipe cleaner ears with puff balls for some fur, and some rubber whiskers. I will have photos later. I just wanted to give a quick update with the storm coming in about how I am feeling.

NP-13 WEEKS
Here we are its officially fall and I am now at 13 weeks! My bump is still growing and I am so happy about that. Not a whole lot to talk about for this week, I have been having trouble sleeping I just can't get comfortable. I am a back and stomach sleeper and that is just not possible at this time. Morning sickness has been getting better but it's still not gone. :(
So for this week I leave you with my 13 week belly picture.

Getting in The HALLOWEEN Spirit
Ok, I just have to say I LOVE HALLOWEEN and Fall for that matter. This year I decided to make my own halloween decorations. As I finish them I will add the description and picture here on this post.
So without further adieu. Here is The Bride and Groom Halloween Wreath.

Timeline prep.
As much as I know that anything can happen during this pregnancy I continue to think positive and I can't help but plan everything. Things that need to get done so I can start to put together the nursery. And since I will more than likely have a c section sometime around March 3 I find myself putting together to do lists and realize that it's only 6 months away. If you look at it on paper it seems so close. I pray that I can at least get to February without any problems.
I even have countdowns until my next appointment.
In other news I believe that my morning sickness rather all day sickness is starting to subside. I find myself taking less zofran and I seem to have more energy. And my belly is getting bigger it's new to me I never had a belly with Laken so I am really hoping that this babe is growing well. We can't wait to find out the gender either. I have a good feeling it's a girl. They say if you have bad morning sickness it's probably a girl. And Dave works on equipment that emits RF energy that supposedly kills the boy sperm. My mom is hoping for a boy she even calls babe by the boy name we have picked out. David wants another girl. I just want a take home baby but secretly hope for a girl. I will not do the stupid gender prediction thing that you pee in; I did check the chinese calendar (it says girl) so now its a wait and see and I'll tell you November can't come fast enough.
Any questions????

NP- Last Time
I was thinking back to my pregnancy with Laken and have realized a few things are different this time around.
1st trimester last time I lost 14lbs and doc wasn't worried. This time I'm gaining weight and have a bit of a bump already at 11w2d.
Last time at 10 weeks almost 11 weeks I went into the ER with heavy bright red bleeding. I was freaking out thinking I had lost the baby and when I had an ultrasound done I was so relieved that baby was still in there moving all over the place. I was told I had a threatened miscarriage. I was discharged and went on like normal, wasn't put on any kind of bed rest, the next day i went to work and took and advancement exam.
When I was still on sea duty my LPO and other supervisors tried to get me to continue my job as DCPO ( Damage Control Petty Officer) i.e work with chemicals that are not safe for a pregnant woman to inhale. Even when I had orders to go to shore duty our NC1 had them canceled. All this put a lot of mental and physical stress on me. Not to mention our ship was in dry dock and i had to go up and down +60 stairs every time i wanted to get on and off the ship. In the heat of the summer.
This time my work environment is less stress full but there is still some stress with working nights on a 5-2 schedule. And on days where I just can't stop throwing up my supervisor sends me home or just tells me to stay home.
I am trying to stay positive and think positive that Dave and I will have a take home baby.
