Tuesdays Tails- All about Roxelle

She has been there for me through everything. She knows how to make me smile when I don't feel like it. Here is Roxy's story

July 09-We were looking for a dog before we knew we were pregnant. We were trying at the time, I wanted to get a puppy so they would be close in age and grow up together. I was underway and DH sent me an email with this cute little boxer pup names "Belle" I knew I had to have her because my nickname is Belle. I wanted to name my dog Roxy but I just had to keep the "elle" part so her name became... Roxelle!

Labor day 09- we drove 3 hours north to pick her up from the breeder and take her home we lived in an apartment on the 2nd floor and we soon learned that she was scared of the stairs. When we would take her out for walks she would love to put anything on the ground in her mouth. Once when she picked up a rock and I told her "No Rox!" DH laughed and said "No rocks!" get it?" I smirked.
She is loads of fun obsessed with sticks some even bigger than she is.

Sept-09 we moved into our new house and Roxelle now has a big yard to play in. (snow)

Dec-09 She was most comforting from the time I was released from the hospital till whenever I need her now. DH's aunt and uncle said to us in the hospital that they were going to take her for a while after I got discharged so that she wouldn't jump on me I told them no that I wanted her and she won't jump but they said that just to be safe they were going to take her. On the day I got released and went home they still hadn't come to pick her up but when I stepped in the door Roxy just came up to me sniffed my legs and sat next to me. When I sat on the couch she laid her head on my lap even though I know she wanted to lay right on it but knew I was hurting. So needless to say Roxy stayed with me. And those 5  days I was in the hospital was the longest she has been apart from me.
