Alright people as you can tell by the counter at the top of the page. WE'RE PREGNANT. As of today about 6 weeks 5 days. I have already been to the military doctors at the Sewells Point Clinic. (I hate that place so much) But anyway I HAD to go there for my "First" blood work lab, to get my pregnancy book that tells you what you can an can not do, what to eat, what to avoid and the changes in your body, and to fill out the ungodly amount of paperwork. Well one question on that paperwork asked about previous pregnancy and of course I wrote down that I had HELLP and PREECLAMPSIA and that I have no living children. When the OB nurse that was doing the class read that she pretty much looked at me and said "Nice to meet you but you will no longer be seen here you will be going to Portsmouth." For those of you who don't know Portsmouth is the Naval Hospital there are more experienced OB's and they have the MFM's there. I may sometime refer to Portsmouth as NMCP (Naval Medical Center Portsmouth). My next appointment the one where we get to see our little BB (baby Bennett) will be on the 23rd of August I will be 9w5d.
Ok now for the story of when we found out. I had taken a First Response Early Result on July 16th nothing popped up after the time limit except the test line. Or so I thought through examining it a bit more if I held it to the light I could kinda see another pink line. But I didn't get my hopes up i figured I will just test again on Sunday the 18th the day before AF was due. Well Sunday morning I woke up and went to the bathroom all prepared for another negative and to my dismay the first little pink line came up in less than a minute it was faint at first but at the end of 3 minutes it was a definite positive.

And then I took a digital just to be sure and to see the words "pregnant"

So DH had to go into work to Muster and I waited for him to get home so I could show him. We were so happy. After hubby knew I called my parents but no answer, so I went to the back yard and start mowing the lawn that had grown into a jungle while we were on leave. As I was mowing I was surrounded by a bunch of dragonflies. I'd like to think they are from Laken telling me everything will be ok. Dave and I well I told Dave that if this little one is a girl her theme is going to be dragonflies. When I came back inside My mom called back, my mom was ecstatic and she swears I'm having twins (we'll find out on the 23rd this month). Another sign we had that this was going to be our month was the double rainbow that the ends of the rainbows were visible on the 4th of July.
